Halcyon bolt snaps are made from high quality 316 stainless steel. They feature increased corrosion resistance because of the actual composition of the materials in this particular stainless steel. 316 stainless steel has approximately 2-3 percent Molybdenum which makes it very resistant to corrosion.

Bolt snap springs are a common failure point because many do not have stainless springs. The Halcyon bolt snaps have stainless springs.
